Doha: The Ministry of Economy and Commerce, in collaboration of Doha Marketing Services Company (Domasco), Honda’s agent, is recalling Jazz and City 2004 due to a defect in the front passenger’s airbags.
A release issued by the ministry yesterday said the recall comes within the framework of ongoing coordination and follow-up by the ministry to ascertain the extent of car dealerships’ commitment to follow up vehicles’ defects and repair them to protect consumers’ rights.
The ministry also stressed that it will coordinate with Domasco to follow up maintenance and repair operations and will communicate with customers to ensure implementation of the procedures to fix defects.
The ministry urged consumers to report any abuses or irregularities by communicating with the Department of Consumer Protection and Commercial Fraud Combat which will receive complaints, suggestions and inquiries through the announced communication channels, the ministry’s social media accounts, the ministry’s application on Smart phones or screens and electronic media system in commercial complexes.
