The low pressure area (LPA) from what was formerly tropical cyclone “Chedeng” (international name “Maysak”) has left the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) yesterday morning.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) last spotted the LPA 410 kilometers west-northwest of Laoag City at around 10 a.m. yesterday.

This means that weather conditions will improve in Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), and the Ilocos Region.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

Based on the PAGASA’s extended four-day weather outlook, maximum temperature range in Metro Manila from April 7 to 10 is from 34 degrees Celsius to 35 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, maximum temperature range in Tuguegarao City will be from 35 degrees Celsius to 37 degrees Celsius during the same period.

Moderate to occasional strong winds coming from the southeast to east will prevail over Luzon and coastal waters will be moderate to occasionally rough.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the northeast with slight to moderate seas.
