Doha: Palma Hospitality has hosted a number of activities and events in the holy month of Ramadan to celebrate the night of Garangao and launch a Quranic competition to celebrate the blessed Eid Al Fitr.

The celebration witnessed a great turnout from the pioneers of the Minipolis Center. The celebration included a number of activities and events directed to children in a festive atmosphere on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr.

Commenting on these celebrations, Dr. Tahani Saqr, CEO of Palma Group, said: “Within the framework of the operational plan of Palma Hospitality Group, we seek to implement a number of events and activities for the benefit of visitors and attendees of the Minipolis Center and other restaurants of the group in order to enhance the role of the target audience by providing all means Entertainment and education at the Minipolis Center for Children, adding that we are working to enhance and develop the child’s skills and provide him with a space for entertainment and education at the same time.

Saqr added: The activities and events included in our annual implementation plan are not limited to Ramadan and Eid Al Fitr, but Palma Group seeks to provide a distinguished atmosphere for all visitors to our entertainment facilities and restaurants, especially in the Minipolis Center, noting that we are preparing for the World Cup. Which will be held this November to implement a full plan on this occasion.

The Minipolis Center also organized a Quranic competition targeting the children’s category for reciting the Quran. It also included a number of activities such as making rosaries, where this event represented a great interaction between the children’s participants, and prizes were distributed to the participants.

The Minipolis Center participated in the Garangao revival, where Qatari homes participated in this occasion, which is one of the authentic Qatari customs rooted in every Qatari home. It is represented by the Garangao celebration from a popular heritage that includes the values ​​of solidarity and solidarity among members of society. Tours were made to the facilities and restaurants of Palma and Ora companies, where Garangao gifts were distributed and a tour of Central City was taken, in addition to a number of activities such as drawing, coloring, folk dances, in addition to folk games.
