NEW DELHI: A bus fell into a 150-metre deep mountain gorge, killing 18 people, in the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh on Friday, police said.
The bus carrying 34 passengers was travelling between the hill towns of Solan and Punradhar, dpa quoted local police official Sumedha Dwivedi as saying.
At least 14 people were injured in the accident.
More than 110,000 people are killed in road crashes annually in India, which has the highest number of road accident fatalities in the world. (QNA)
