New Delhi: Rajasthan Royals cricketer Ankeet Chavan, arrested in the Indian Premier League (IPL) spot fixing scandal, yesterday surrendered before a Delhi court after his June 2 marriage. Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Lokesh Kumar Sharma sent Chavan to judicial custody till June 18, after he surrendered on the expiry of his one-week interim bail.
Chavan also moved a fresh bail application before a sessions court. It will come up for hearing today.
