BAGHDAD: A security element was killed and five others were wounded in mortar attack on the headquarters of a security in central Baquba.
A number of mortar shells fell in the vicinity of a security headquarters amid Baquba followed by a car bomb explosion targeted a guard point, which resulted in the killing of a security element and wounding five others, a security source told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA).
He added that the security agencies had taken strict security measures in the vicinity of residential neighborhoods near the security headquarters, while the injured were taken to a hospital in Baquba. (QNA)
