DOHA: Qatar Stock Exchange index dropped 27.12 points (-0.21 percent) when trading closed Thursday at 13,076.33 points.
The trading value reached QR 829.767 million with a volume of 13,704,966 shares from 7,182 transactions.
All sectors indices closed higher barring industries which went down -0.86 percent to 4,289.52 points.
From the 43 listed companies 26 made gains today while 14 went down and four remained unchanged.
Islamic Holding led the gainers today, significantly up +9.72 percent when it closed at QR 79 from QR 72 the previous day.
The Investors Group was up +4.44 percent when it closed at QR 56.40 from the previous day's QR 54.
Medicare topped losers, down by -3.42 percent when it closed at QR 118.70 from the previous day's QR 122.90. (QNA)
