DOHA: Seventy-one schools for boys and girls will be a part of the educational voucher system in the academic year 2014-15.
H E Mohammed Abdul Wahed Ali Al Hammadi, the Minister of Education and Higher Education and Secretary General of the Supreme Education Council (SEC), has issued a decision in this regard.
The educational voucher system gives eligible Qatari parents more options in selecting private schools for their children to study in.
These schools are selected according to specific standards set by the SEC. They must have a curriculum which enhances the cultural identity of the students, teach Arabic language and the history of Qatar.
