DOHA: QIC Insured, the retail arm of Qatar’s leading insurer Qatar Insurance Company (QIC), yesterday announced the winners of its recently concluded “Insure & Win” Ramadan Raffle 2016 campaign.
The draw to select prize winners was conducted in the presence of senior dignitaries from the Ministry of Economy and Commerce (MEC), Deputy Group President & CEO of QIC — Mena, Salem Al Mannai and senior QIC officials at the QIC headquarters at West Bay.
Shine S K R Sasidharan, who won the first prize, was awarded a cheque of QR100,000. Five second prize winners, namely, Lugard, Josel Serafica Leanda, H.N., N.C. and R.S. were each presented a cheque for QR5,000. The 150 winners of the third prize winners were each given home insurance worth QR400.
While handing over the prizes, Salem Al Mannai said: “I would like to congratulate all the winners of the Ramadan Raffle 2016. Since its launch, we’ve had a record number of participants and have been inundated with positive feedback.
“Besides marking the success of the campaign, this also demonstrates our commitment to provide the best offers and services to our customers. And going forward, we’ll continue to lead by launching more innovative products and services in the marketplace.”
Shine said: “I was thrilled to receive a call from QIC Insured, informing me that I had won the first prize of QR100, 000. I have been a customer of QIC Insured for more than eight years, and I am very satisfied with the products and services that they provide.”
QIC Insured ran a campaign, offering competitive rates for comprehensive car insurance starting at 2.16 percent during the holy month of Ramadan.
Customers who purchased comprehensive car insurance online between June 11 and July 11 automatically became eligible for participation in the raffle draw.
