Doha: As part of India @75, “Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav”, on August 13, 2021, the Indian Cultural Center (ICC) is organising a blood donation drive in coordination with Hamad Medical Corporation. Over 500 donors have already come forward for the drive, ICC officials said.
Hamad Medical Corporation is making all the arrangements like beds and logistics required for the drive at ICC Ashoka Hall from 8 am till late evening to accommodate all registered donors.
“ICC blood donation drive in such a scale is being done for the first time in the history and all associated and affiliated organizations, ICC members, ICC Youth Wing, ICC Student Forum, and volunteers are taking part in this massive effort,” ICC official said.
Dr Deepak Mittal, Ambassador of India to Qatar will be inaugurate the event at 9 am.
