Filipino residents dump buckets of ice water on themselves as they take part in the ALS ice bucket challenge in Quezon City, Metro Manila, yesterday. Over 200 people brought their own buckets of water to take part in the challenge aimed at raising awareness of — and money to fight — Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, more often known as ALS or Lou Gherig’s Disease.
