•    Residents have urged the authorities to closely monitor language training institutes, most of which are competing with each other in increasing fees. They say all the institutes and other language training centres should have uniform fees, and have suggested routine inspections to ensure that they stick to these prices, have enough teaching staff and that offer quality education.
•    Residents are complaining of the rising cost of limousine services, which they have blamed on lack of monitoring and the absence of a maximum limit for the cost of these services. They want the Consumer Protection Department to fix the prices of limousine services so that the drivers do not exploit their clients.
•    Residents and citizens are objecting to the eviction notices served on families of employees of the Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning asking them to vacate their houses in a week. They are asking the authorities to give them enough time to find a new place, noting that some of the families cannot afford to rent independent houses or apartments.
•    Five people died of smoke inhalation following a fire in the health quarantine on Friday, the Ministry of Interior reported.
•    Complaints about long queues at fuel stations in Doha have increased after the owners of some stations demolished them and started other businesses. Residents are asking the authorities to intervene as the number of cars is increasing with the growing population.
•    Residents have urged the authorities to intensify inspection of grocery stores in Doha neighbourhoods as they charge arbitrary prices for goods.
