Smoke rises after what activists said was an air strike by forces loyal to Syria’s President Bashar Al Assad on Tal Abyad street market in central Raqqa yesterday. Syrian air strikes against the northern jihadist bastion of Raqqa killed 53 people. Eight of the civilian victims were from one family.
