DOHA: The Ministry of Economy and Commerce plans to move its headquarters to the Marina District of Lusail City early next year. The Ministry has leased a tower in Marina District which is one of the 18 separate districts planned for Lusail, reportedly the largest single real estate project in the country. Besides commercial buildings, the Marina District also includes underwater lighting, black and grey water ‘pump-out’ at the berths, a fuel service station, 24-hours security, a five-star concierge service, laundry service, a deck wash for all yachts and valet parking. In addition, the marina District — designed as an eco-friendly facility — will also offer wi-fi services and a clubhouse. Also a number of financial institutions like banks are likely to move from the Grand Hamad Street to the financial area of Lusail City in the future.
