Doha: Qatar Maritime Security Conference (QMARSEC 2013), which seeks to provide a fully integrated exhibition and platform for military leaders, officers, operations commandants and industry stakeholders to discuss and learn the latest strategies in maritime security operations, will open today at Ritz-Carlton Hotel.
The Director of Qatar National Security Shield Project, Staff Brigadier (Pilot) Mohamed Abdul Latif Al Mannai, said the conference’s opening session will be attended by the Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani and the Minister of State for Defence Affairs H E Major General Hamad bin Ali Al Attiyah.
