ANKARA: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that there were a number of other countries ready to provide Turkey with fighter jets in case the US does not fulfill Turkey's demands for F-16 jets.
He added that Turkey can fulfill its demand for jets in a similar manner to how it used S-400 systems after Washington refused to provide Turkey with the Patriot defense system.
Turkey has requested the purchase of F-16 jets from the US in a bid to upgrade its fleet, but Washington said Ankara needed to fulfill a number of conditions before they can obtain those jets.
