DOHA: President of the Supreme Judiciary Council (SJC) HE Judge Masood Al Ameri, met here on Thursday with Turkey's ambassador to qatar HE Ahmet Demirok.
During the meeting, they discussed aspects of joint cooperation and how best to enhance joint coordination in the legal and judicial fields.
The council aims to maintaining judicial independence through the proper management its affairs and judges.
It also attends to complaints related to the council to remain accountable.
The council’s responsibilities and goals include:
Assert judicial independence.
Meet the level of competence as outlined in the law that established the council.
Provide judgement on legal disputes in all levels of the court system. (QNA)
