DOHA: The Qatar Exchange in green area on Thursday 9,976.21 points or 0.23 percent to 23.34 points from the previous closing of 9,952.87 points on Wednesday.
The volume of the shares down to 7,527,665 from 10,614,647 on Wednesday and the value of shares decreased to QR 1,332,275,342.82 from QR 511,882,908.49 Wednesday.
Among the top gainers were Comm. Bank of Qatar whose share up 1.19 percent to QR 68.00, Qatar Insurance whose share added 1.09 percent to QR 65.00, United Dev. Company gained 0.04 percent to QR 22.60 and Salam International increased by 0.16 percent to QR 12.20.
The Banking and Financial sector index was down 0.04 percent points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index fell 0.01 percent points.
The industrial sector was lost 0.01 percent points while insurance sector up 0.46 percent points. (QNA)
