Doha: Qatar Olympic Team will meet its UAE counterpart in a friendly match at Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium in Lekhwiya Sports Club at 7:30 pm on Sunday.
The match is part of Qatar’s preparations for the inaugural AFC U-23 Championship, to be held in Doha from January 12 to 30 next year.
The Qatari team will play two more friendlies with its counterparts from Australia and Cote d'Ivoire November 12 and 17.
In December, Qatar will camp in Spain and play against Serbia. They will then play host to Uzbekistan and Yemen.
