Gulf Air wins three IT awards

Gulf Air, the national carrier of  Bahrain, recently took home 3 awards for its Information Technology achievements: “Technology Innovation of the Year” at the Aviation Business Awards 2016, “Hospitality and Tourism Deployment of the Year” at the seventh annual Computer News Middle East (CNME) ICT Achievement Awards  and “Best Airline in Technology - Middle East” at the Global Enterprise Connect (GEC) Awards 2016. 
The awards were accepted by Dr Jassim Haji, Gulf Air Director Information Technology, on behalf of the airline. Commenting on the wins, Gulf Air Chief Executive Officer Maher Salman Al Musallam said, “Gulf Air’s IT achievements are many and I am delighted to see them recognized yet again.
 Information Technology is a critical aspect of any airline and, at Gulf Air, our IT department continually strives for innovation while remaining on the cusp of latest developments.
