Doha: Over 500 students from Indian expatriate community participated in Chaliyar Doha Mega Painting & Drawing Contest-2020 organised on Children’s Day to raise environmental awareness among children and to nurture and promote their talents to a higher level.
Zubi Suresh, a South Indian cine artist and presenter of the popular reality show Kuttikuppayam, inaugurated the mega painting & drawing contest and announced the theme of the drawing competition as Green Qatar for Future Generation.
Famous child actress Anika Surendran spoke on the occasion of World Children’s Day. Out of the last ten contestants who got the highest marks after the evaluation by the judges panel, Nuha binth Niyas from Birla Public School won the first prize, Anjal Shadi Kuttiyil from Ideal Indian School won the second prize and Nitza Azeela Navaz from Birla Public School won the third prize.
The first prize of QR1001 Copacabana Seafood Grill restaurant MD Hyder, Second prize QR501 RAG Manager Anees, Third Prize QR251 Mates Qatar team manager Salim distributed respectively.
Certificates of appreciation distributed by Ragam Library MD Noufal Kattayat, Five Point Presented by MD Safirussalam. Earlier, Chaliyar Doha officials had personally distributed complimentary prizes to the top 20 finishers
