Doha: The Police College received an academic licensing and accreditation team of the Supreme Education Council.
The team was headed by Dr Khalid Mohammed Al Hurr, Director, Higher Education Board, and was received by the Director-General of the college, Brig. Dr Mohammed Abdullah Al Muhana Al Marri, Director, Technical Office of the Minister of Interior, Brig. Badr Ibrahim Al Ghanim, Director, Administrative and Financial Affairs, Maj. Dr Jabr Hamoud Al Nuaimi, Dean, Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr Husain Mohammed Fathi and other officials.
Brig. Al Marri thanked the team for follow-up to run the college and developments witnessed by it so far.
Dr Al Hurr and his team were taken on a tour of facilities, including classrooms, offices, computer labs, staff room and sports buildings. They also met students and faculty members and attended a presentation on measures taken by the college.
Dr Al Hurr praised the facilities and preparations to meet all requirements of the licence and to start teaching.
