Doha: Al Gharafa recorded an important 73-60 win over Al Arabi Sports Club in the Qatar Basketball League on Wednesday.
The four quarters of the match were in Al Gharafa’s favour and ended 15-14, 17-7, 21-20 and 20-19.
By this victory Al Gharafa took their tally to 18 points, one point behind Al Rayan, the leader and Al Sadd.
The the second match of the day saw team work helped Al Wakrah to beat Al Khor 114-94.
Al Khor was behind by 30-24, 33-24 and 31-23 during the first three quarters and managed their way to have the fourth quIn the general ranking,
Al Wakrah is in the fifth position with 15 points, and Al Khor in the sixth position with 15 points as well, but Wakrah lead with the goal difference.
In matches on Tuesday, Al Rayyan and Al Sadd secured big victories over their respective opponents.
Al Rayyan dominated Al Ahli from the beginning to record a 110-53 while Al Sadd overcame Qatar SC, thanks to 24 points by Abdulrahman Saad. QNA
