Doha: Mohammed Sabri topped in the Men’s Air Pistol 10m of the Qatar Open at the Losail Shooting Range on Wednesday.
While Sabri clinched the title, Abdullah Al Sunaidi finished second after a tough contest.
The third position in the event went to Ali AlMohannadi.
In the Youth category, shooter Mohammed Al Mubarak displayed brilliant skills and accuracy to win the gold medal,
Ahmed Al Ali took the silver and Fahad Al Mirqab clinched the bronze medal.
The event comes as a preparation stage for the Qatar national team ahead of their participation in the upcoming Asian Shooting Championship in New Delhi, which serves as qualifying tournament for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
Aysha Al Suwaidi claimed the gold medal in the women’s 10m Rifle event while Hanadi Salem took the gold in the 10m Pistol event earlier in the event.
