Beirut: One person was killed Thursday in an Israeli airstrike on southern Lebanon.
The Lebanese National News Agency reported that an Israeli drone targeted a car on the Zita-Bnaafoul road, killing at least one person.
It is worth noting that a ceasefire agreement in southern Lebanon came into effect in November 2014, stipulating the withdrawal of Israeli forces from border villages and towns in southern Lebanon within 60 days. However, the occupation forces remain in five locations and continue their violations.
