DOHA: A Nepalese who attacked his friend’s eyes with a piece of iron during a brawl and caused him lose sight has been sentenced to three-year jail.
The sentence was handed down by Judge Mustafa Abdul Majid Alibduehi in the presence of Judge Hassan Walid Sayyidi and Judge Al Rashid Al Marri, reports local Arabic daily Al Raya.
According to public prosecution records, the duo fought over taking a meal and the accused pulled out a piece of iron and hit the victim, taking out his eyes and causing him permanent disability.The Peninsula
