Doha: Qatar Fuel (Woqod) recently organised a one-day training workshop on high performance bitumen for companies to achieve sustainable roads.
Members of local road contracting companies and the Public Works Authority Ashghal along with senior members of Woqod’s management team attended the workshop. Subjects included an overview of bitumen properties and its relationship to pavement performance, conventional and advanced tests that are used to measure bitumen properties, quality control and best practices in storing and handling bitumen.
