London: Chelsea's France international centre-back Kurt Zouma was stretchered off with what looked like a serious knee injury during his side's Premier League home game with Manchester United on Sunday.

The 21-year-old's right leg appeared to buckle as he landed following an aerial challenge with Marouane Fellaini in the 55th minute and he collapsed to the ground in agony.

After receiving treatment from Chelsea's medical staff, he was stretchered off to applause from around the ground four minutes later, with Gary Cahill coming on.

Jesse Lingard put United 1-0 up moments later.
