In support of the relief efforts undertaken by the State of Qatar, civil society organisations, charitable and humanitarian societies for support of the victims of the devastating earthquake that struck Turkiye and Syria, Dar Al Sharq Group has decided to donate one-week income revenues of its four newspapers for the victims of the earthquake.
This has come in implementation of directives by Sheikh Dr. Khaled bin Thani bin Abdullah Al Thani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dar Al Sharq Media Group. The group has decided to donate the income of The Peninsula, Al Sharq, Al Arab, and Lusail newspapers of one week, starting from today (Thursday), to the victims of the devastating earthquake.
Coordination will be made with Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) and Qatar Charity to deliver the support.
Sheikh Dr. Khaled bin Thani Al Thani offered condolences to the two brotherly peoples, praying to Allah Almighty to rest the victims in the abundance of His mercy, and to grant the injured a speedy recovery.
