Doha: The Lekhwiya (Internal Security Force) will be holding its ‘Cultural Festival Day’ from 12pm to 7pm tomorrow at the ‘spring tent’ of the National Olympic Committee in Sealine beach area.
The sports activities will consist of beach football, beach handball, beach volley ball, billiards and tennis for the public.
Quiz competition for the general public on religion, general knowledge and sports will also be held and the winners will be given valuable prizes on the spot.
The electronic traffic awareness competition by the Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Interior will be one of the major attractions.
The organisers have arranged game and entertainment facilities for children, where families can enjoy a nice evening and learn safety and security related matters. The visitors also can taste Qatari traditional food free of cost and there will be a small exhibition to showcase the equipment and arms used by Lekhwiya in its various operations.
