Gaza: At least one Palestinian was killed and 42 others were injured, including four medics and two journalists, by live bullets or rubber-coated rounds today as Israeli forces attacked the weekly Great March of Return protests at Gaza-Israel border, Palestinian WAFA news agency cited the Ministry of Health.

The forces fired live bullets and rubber-coated steel rounds at the protesters who gathered at many encampments along the border, killing Tamer Khaled Arafat, 23 years old, and injuring 24 protesters by live bullets. Many others were injured by rubber-coated rounds.

Four medics were directly hit and injured by teargas canisters or stun grenades, while two journalists were injured by live shots.

Some of the wounded were moved to hospital and others were treated in the field hospitals.

More than 210 Palestinians have been killed and over 23,000 others injured by Israeli forces since the outbreak of the Great March of Return protests at Gaza border on March 30, 2018.
