KABUL: Afghan security forces and the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) have killed 12 armed Taliban in the past 24 hours.
According to the Afghan Interior Ministry, the operations were conducted in Kunar, Nangarhar, Kapisa, Jowzjan, Kandahar, Zabul, Maidan Wardak, Ghazni, Paktiya and Helmand provinces.
Also, during these operations, Afghan National Police discovered and confiscated amounts of light and heavy round ammunitions and 2000 kilos of explosives, the Ministry added. (QNA)
