Doha: The Advisory Council yesterday convened for its weekly meeting under the chairmanship of Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khulaifi.
The Secretary-General, Fahd bin Mubarak Al Khayareen, read out the agenda, which was agreed upon. The council endorsed the minutes of its previous session.
A memo from the Cabinet General Secretariat to the Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning on the council’s recommendations concerning a draft law amending some provisions of the law No. 4 of 1985 regarding buildings organisation was read out. The council also reviewed a draft law on exempting certain types of goods from customs duties and decided to refer it to the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee for a report.
