Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani yesterday issued Decree No. 17 of 2014 ratifying a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the legal field between the State of Qatar’s Ministry of Justice and the Republic of Sudan’s Ministry of Justice, which was signed in Khartoum on May 30, 2013. It will come into force of law in line with Article 68 of the Constitution.
The Emir issued Decree No. 18 of 2014 ratifying an agreement on the regulation of employing the Macedonian workers in Qatar between the governments of Qatar and the Republic of Macedonia, which was signed in Skopje on October 17, 2011, and to come into force of law in line with Article 68 of the Constitution.
The Emir also issued Decree No. 19 of 2014 ratifying an agreement on the activities of diplomatic cooperation between the governments of Qatar and the French Republic, which was signed on June 23, 2013, and to have the power of law as per Article 68 of the Constitution.
Additionally, the Emir issued Decree No. 20 of 2014 ratifying an MoU on environmental cooperation between the governments of Qatar and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which was signed in Riyadh on March 1, 2013, and to come into force of law in line with Article 68 of the Constitution.
The Emir issued Decree No. 21 of 2014 ratifying an agreement between Qatar and the Swiss Confederation on the avoidance of double taxation in relation to income tax and the attached protocol and which was signed on September 24, 2009, and to have the power of law as per Article 68 of the Constitution.
The decrees are effective as of the date of publication in the official gazette.
Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani yesterday issued the Emiri Decision No. 53 of 2014 amending some provisions of the Emiri Decision No. 33 of 2000 on regulations of preparing legislations.
The Emiri Decision is effective as of the date of publication in the official gazette.
