Doha: The 14th Arab Robotics Championship, organised by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE), kicked off yesterday at Lusail Sports Arena, with the participation of 16 countries.
Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Affairs at MoEHE, Maha Al Ruwaili, President of the Arab Society for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Ismail Hassan, and guests from various Arab countries participating in the tournament attended the opening ceremony.
Al Ruwaili said Qatar’s hosting of the tournament affirms its vision in the knowledge economy by increasing the efficiency of human resources and developing students’ abilities.
President of the Arab Society for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, Ismail Hassan, praised efforts made by MoEHE, Qatar Science Club, and the Arab Society for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence.
