Astana: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani left Thursday the capital Astana following his participation in the Astana International Forum, heading to Dushanbe on a state visit to the friendly Republic of Tajikistan.
His Highness was seen off at Astana International Airport by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Murat Nurtleu, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Kazakhstan HE Abdulaziz bin Sultan Al Rumaihi, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Qatar HE Arman Issagaliyev and members of the Qatari Embassy.
HH the Amir sent a cable to President of the Republic of Kazakhstan HE Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, expressing thanks and appreciation for the warm welcome accorded to him and the accompanying delegation while attending the Astana International Forum. HH praised the valuable efforts that contributed to the success of the Forum and expressed hope that it would achieve its desired goals.
HH also expressed pleasure at the opportunity to meet with His Excellency and exchange views on issues of common interest and means to support and strengthen bilateral relations in various fields for the benefit and interest of the two friendly peoples.
