Doha: Qatar News Agency (QNA) will hold from today a three-day workshop on covering economic news.
The event is the latest in a series of workshops held to provide quality training for Qatari professionals in the media field.
This week’s workshop covers topics, including how to cover economic news stories, integrate numbers and graphs and convey complicated economic terms to the public.
Business Anchor and Senior Presenter at Aljazeera, Nadeem Al Mallah, will hold the workshop. QNA workshops were launched in accordance to Emiri decision No. 51 for 2009 which mandated the agency to hold workshops to improve the professional standard of Qatari journalists. QNA
