Bhavan’s Public School (BHPS) celebrated the Teachers’ Day recently. The programme kicked off with an Islamic prayer by Fazalu, from Arabic Department followed by welcome address by Geetha Kartha, Academic Coordinator. Principal, V L Balasubramanian addressed the faculty members on the significance of the day. He read the Teachers’ Day message by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. The Head Master Philip also wished the teachers on the occasion and quoted the words of Swami Vivekananda: “Arise Awake and stop not till the goal is reached”.
Babu Rajan, General-Secretary, BHPS presided over the function. Arunan, Director, BHPS, also addressed the teachers. This was followed by certificate distribution by the Principal to the teachers who attended a CBSE orientation on CCE this August at Cochin (India).
On this occasion songs were rendered by the staff members. The other dignitaries who graced the occasion were Anil Kumar, Hameed, Jabber, Manoj, Board of Directors, BHPS, Prabhavathi, Vice Principal, and AnjanaMenon, Administrator.
