DOHA: Qatar Reinsurance Company, a firm incorporated in the Qatar Financial Centre (QFC), has announced to migrate its ‘seat of incorporation’ from the QFC Authority to Bermuda, according to a statement on Tuesday.
The migration is subject to all necessary regulatory approvals which are being obtained by the company.
However, the statement said the company will retain its legal personality without interruption, as a company incorporated in Bermuda. A branch of the company will be maintained in the QFC. The date of the proposed migration will be not less than 60 days after the date of this notice.
