Doha: The incidence of cancer is more common among Qatari women compared to Qatari men, latest data shows.
Of 1,077 cancer cases detected in Qatar last year, 212 involved Qataris and 865 expatriates. Of the Qatari patients, 125 were women and 87 men. As for expats, more cases were found among men — 502 — against 363 women, apparently due to the domination of males in the population.
