Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani yesterday issued Decree No. 56 for 2013, convening the 42nd session of the Advisory Council. The council will met on November 5. The decree will be published in the Official Gazette.
Premier meets ambassadors
Doha: The Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani yesterday met separately ambassadors Abdul Fattah Ziani (Algeria), Mohamed bin Nasser Al Wehaibi (Oman), Saad Cachalia (South Africa) and the Bulgarian Charge d’Affaires Miroslav Zafirov. Talks dealt with ways to bolster cooperation.
Saudi Speaker meets envoy
Riyadh: The Speaker of Saudi Shura Council, Dr Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammad bin Ibrahim Al Sheikh, met the outgoing Qatari Ambassador Ali bin Abdullah Al Mahamoud. They reviewed relations between both countries.
Eid Al Adha fun at Souq Waqif
DOHA: Souq Waqif yesterday announced it would present a five-day entertainment programme in celebration of Eid Al Adha. The shows catered for all ages will start on October 16 and include Snow White theatrical play for children, acrobatic shows and other activities at Al Rayyan Theatre.
