BAGHDAD: Gunmen assassinated on Tuesday the spokesman of the governor of Iraqi province of Nineveh.
A security source told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that the gunmen attacked the home of Saad Zaghloul, the spokesman of the governor of Nineveh province in eastern Mosul, killing him on the spot.
On the other hand, the forces of fighting against terrorism arrested the commander of the so-called the Army of the Mujahedeen.
The semi-official, Al-Iraqiya T.V said that the fight against terrorism forces arrested the commander of the so-called the Army of the Mujahedeen and two of his aides with weapons and explosives in their possession. (QNA)
