Ramallah: The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the death of a 17-year-old Palestinian of a head wound during clashes that erupted in the city of Jenin, following a massive storming of its camp, while another young man of the same age died of critical wounds in the neck area.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health also announced that 11 injuries were caused by live fire in the lower extremities, and were transferred to Jenin and Ibn Sina Hospitals for treatment.

Palestinian security sources earlier this morning said that dozens of military vehicles stormed Jenin camp this morning, after undercover Special Forces units, known as the "Musta'ribeen", infiltrated the camp. The house of the freed prisoner, Saleh Abu Zina, was besieged, which led to the outbreak of violent confrontations, resulting in dozens of suffocation cases.

Sources said that occupation forces prevented press crews and ambulances from reaching the camp, to cover what was going on, amid intense flight of four Apache helicopters, extensive firing of live bullets, gas and smoke bombs, and snipers ascending the roofs of commercial buildings in the city center.

Mass rallies were launched in Jenin and its camp, denouncing the crime of killing the two young men, and the repeated crimes of the occupation against the Palestinians, calling for the need to provide international protection for the Palestinians.
