DOHA: Inspectors from the Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning found 19 violations related to buildings and encroachment in new industrial areas.
Inspectors conducted a campaign to check violations in Aba Salil and Berkat Al Awamer.
The campaign was held in collaboration with inspectors from Doha and Al Wakra municipalities.
Inspectors found that many violators were not complying with land utility contracts, particularly Wadi Aba Salil and Berkat Al Awamer.
The law prevents sub-letting to tenants, transfer of contracts and stipulates that land should be used for the purpose it is given for and according to the contract, within three months of signing the deal without any changes to the approved plan.
