DOHA: Aspire Zone Foundation (AZF) has launched Fayez (winner) Programme which saw the participation of hundreds of senior staff and members of Aspire Academy, Aspetar and Aspire Logistics.
The program aims to achieve a win-win formula for all parties; staff in different roles and functions, for the foundation and its members, and for all segments of the community, so that each parties is a Fayez’ winner.
The programme is based on the results of a questionnaire in which employees identified their requirements and challenges they might face with regard to a better productive working environment.
Speaking at the launch, Khalid Abdullah Al Sulaiteen, AZF CEO, said, “We are keen to pursue the insight of our political leadership, and always give emphasis to its values that consider human resources and workforce as its most significant resource and the most valuable asset.
“This is outlined in Qatar National Vision 2030 and the National Development Strategy 2011-2016, both of which articulate the need to “build a capable and motivated workforce” and a fundamental pillar for the strategic development of our country.
“It is a cornerstone in our organisational culture that working as one is the only way to achieving our ambitious vision to be the global reference for sports excellence by 2020, which requires all of us to work as a team in a harmonious environment.”
Motivational speaker Carl Massy conducted a team-bonding session at the opening event which saw a great response and interaction from staff.
AZF officials responsible for the programme said it was the beginning and that the programme runs for three years to complete its development plan. The programme is a continuation of AZF’s efforts for the development of employees, making Aspire a favourite destination as an employer.
