Samsung has launched the latest addition to the Gear universe, the smartwatch Gear S3 in Qatar. Unveiled at IFA 2016 in Berlin, the Gear S3 is available in two bold designs, Frontier and Classic at a price of QR1,399. Inspired by the active explorer, the Gear S3 Frontier evokes a rugged outdoor look designed to perform in any setting or environment – whether business or leisure. The Gear S3 Classic pays homage to the minimalist, elegant style found in the most iconic timepieces.

The Gear S3 combines IP68 water resistance, wireless fast charging,SOS and location tracking capabilities and a dedicated speaker. The smartwatch is compatible with a range of Samsung smartphones. The Classic edition allows you to use any 22mm watch-strap so that the user can match it to his or her favourite outfits.
For the first time on the Gear series, the Gear S3 features Corning Gorilla Glass SR+, specifically designed for wearable devices to provide a tougher, more scratch resistant and crisp display.
