DOHA: The Supreme Council of Health (SCH) will organise the first Qatar Week for patient safety beginning next Sunday to raise awareness on patient safety and highlight the achievements of Qatar in this field.
The campaign will target all public and private health care providers in the country, schools and other organisations concerned.
This campaign will be held every year and will focus on a specific topic, the SCH said yesterday.
A series of workshops will be held during the campaign involving experts from the SCH, Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar University and the World Health Organisation.
