Doha: Al Shamal Municipality represented by the Municipal Control Department, carried out 1,725 inspection visits within the administrative borders of the municipality in December, 2022.
The inspection campaigns resulted in recording a number of violation of the regulation of human food control, building and public hygiene violations.
The Health Control Department has carried out 1,223 inspections at food establishments within the administrative borders of the municipality, which resulted in examining 263 slaughtered animals (sheep, camels, and cows) inside the automated slaughterhouse.
During which, two slaughtered animals were completely destroyed and 33 were partially destroyed in a number of slaughterhouses.
Also, 28 samples were sent to the central laboratory to ensure their safety for human consumption. In December, the Public Control Department carried out 340 inspection campaigns.
As a result, 24 abandoned cars were removed in addition to issuing a number of records of violations, some of which were reconciled.
