Cairo: The Arab League's General Secretariat launched the 2023 Arab Youth Year.
Qatar was represented in the event by the Deputy Permanent Representative of Qatar to the Arab League H E Fahd Rashid Al Muraikhi.
In a press conference at the Arab League's headquarters in Cairo, Dr Ashraf Sobhi, Egyptian Minister of Youth and Sports, who is also the head of the executive office of the Council of Arab Ministers of Youth and Sports, said the Arab youth year aimed at encouraging meaningful community participation of Arab youth, exchanging ideas and experiences with Arab governments, knowing the reality of Arab youth, and finding out the most important future trends regarding their behavior, aspirations and vision.
The Egyptian Minister of Youth and Sports said that a variety of activities and events will be held in Arab countries this year, through the launch of more than 44 programs.
