Gaza: The Israeli occupation's navy attacked on Thursday Palestinian fishing boats while sailing off the northern shores of the Gaza Strip, no casualties reported.

The residents said, in statements, that the occupation soldiers fired machine guns and tear gas canisters at Palestinian fishermen boats operating in the seas of Al-Sudania and Al-Waha and the towns of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza, forcing them to stop fishing and return to the shore.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Prisoner Club warned, in a statement today, of the serious repercussions of the occupation's continued detention of 68 Palestinian prisoners in difficult and tragic conditions in the Negev desert prison, confirming that the Israeli jailers, after transferring the prisoners to another section and isolating them, deprived them of their belongings and their most basic rights, especially heating and the provision of blankets and clothes.

The club held the Israeli authorities fully responsible for the fate of the detained prisoners, calling on the international community and global bodies, foremost of which is the International Red Cross, to intervene urgently in order to end the suffering of Palestinian detainees and prisoners.
